01 Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the DigiDix application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the App.

If you are using the App on behalf of a child, you represent that you are the child's parent or legal guardian and that you consent to these Terms on behalf of the child.

02 Service Description

DigiDix is a family-oriented task management, reward, and habit-building application. The App allows:

• Parents/Guardians: To create tasks, set rewards, manage family members, track progress, and motivate children
• Children: To view and complete tasks, earn points, claim rewards, track achievements and streaks, and build positive habits

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the App at any time with reasonable notice.

03 User Accounts

3.1 Parent/Guardian Accounts

• You must be at least 18 years old to create a parent/guardian account
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• You are responsible for all activities under your account
• You must provide accurate and complete information
• You may sign in using email/password, Google Sign-In, or Apple Sign-In

3.2 Child Accounts

• Child accounts can only be created by a parent/guardian
• Children log in using a username and PIN created by their parent
• Parents are responsible for supervising their children's use of the App
• Children cannot create accounts independently

3.3 Account Security

You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account. We are not liable for any loss resulting from unauthorized access to your account.

04 Family Features & Children

DigiDix includes features designed for family use:

• Parents can create and manage children's profiles
• Parents can assign tasks, set point values, and create custom rewards
• Children can view tasks, submit completions, and claim rewards
• All family data is private and shared only within the family group

05 Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Attempt to access other users' accounts or data
• Interfere with or disrupt the App's functionality
• Upload harmful content, malware, or viruses
• Create fake accounts or impersonate others
• Use automated tools or bots to interact with the App
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Use the App to collect information about other users
• Share inappropriate or harmful content in task descriptions or custom rewards

06 Subscriptions & In-App Purchases

6.1 Free Tier

DigiDix offers a free tier with core features and limited usage. Free tier users may see advertisements (child-safe ads for child accounts).

6.2 Premium Subscription

• Premium features are available through subscription plans
• Subscriptions are billed through Google Play Store or Apple App Store
• Subscription pricing and features are displayed in the App before purchase
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date

6.3 Cancellation & Refunds

• You can cancel your subscription at any time through Google Play or App Store settings
• Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period
• Refunds are handled by Google Play or Apple App Store according to their refund policies
• We do not provide direct refunds — please contact the respective app store

6.4 Price Changes

We may change subscription prices with at least 30 days' notice. You will be notified before any price change affects your subscription.

07 Virtual Currency & Rewards

• Points and virtual rewards within DigiDix have no real-world monetary value
• Points cannot be exchanged for real money, goods, or services outside the App
• Parents define the rewards and their point values within their family
• We are not responsible for any real-world promises made by parents through the reward system
• Virtual currency and rewards are not transferable between families

08 Intellectual Property

• The App, including its design, code, graphics, animations, the Dixie mascot, logos, and all content, is owned by DigiDix and protected by intellectual property laws
• You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes
• You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the App

09 User-Generated Content

Users may create content within the App, such as custom task names, descriptions, reward names, and profile photos. You agree that:

• You are solely responsible for any content you create
• Content must not be illegal, offensive, or inappropriate, especially considering children may view it
• We reserve the right to remove content that violates these Terms
• You retain ownership of your content but grant us a license to store and display it within the App to provide the service

10 Disclaimers

The App is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to:

• Implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose
• Warranties that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure
• Warranties regarding the accuracy or completeness of any content

DigiDix is a tool to assist in family task management. It is not a substitute for parenting, educational guidance, or professional advice.

11 Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:

• DigiDix shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
• Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you have paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim
• We are not liable for any loss of data, points, rewards, or achievements due to service disruptions
• We are not responsible for any actions taken by parents or children based on the App's task and reward system

12 Termination

• You may terminate your account at any time by deleting it through the App settings or by contacting us
• We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms
• Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately
• Data deletion upon account termination is governed by our Privacy Policy

13 Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by:

• Posting the updated Terms on this page with a new effective date
• Sending an in-app notification

Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

14 Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms shall be resolved as follows:

1. Informal Resolution: You agree to first attempt to resolve any dispute informally by contacting us at contact@digidix.com. We will attempt to resolve the dispute within 30 days.
2. Binding Arbitration: If informal resolution fails, disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration administered under the rules of the American Arbitration Association (AAA), conducted in English.
3. Class Action Waiver: You agree that any dispute resolution proceedings will be conducted only on an individual basis and not in a class, consolidated, or representative action.

Nothing in this section shall prevent either party from seeking injunctive or other equitable relief from the courts for matters related to intellectual property rights or unauthorized access.
