01 Introduction
DigiDix ("we," "our," or "us") operates the DigiDix mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our App.
DigiDix is a family-oriented task management and reward system designed for parents/guardians and their children. We are committed to protecting the privacy of all our users, especially children.
Important: DigiDix is designed for families. Parent/guardian accounts require the user to be at least 18 years old. Children's accounts are created, managed, and supervised by their parent/guardian.
02 Information We Collect
2.1 Information Provided by Parents/Guardians
- Account Information: Email address, display name, phone number (optional), profile photo (optional)
- Authentication Data: We support email/password, Google Sign-In, and Apple Sign-In. We do not store third-party passwords.
- Family Data: Family name, family settings, currency preferences
- Payment Information: Subscription and in-app purchase data is processed by Google Play / Apple App Store. We do not directly collect or store credit card information.
2.2 Information About Children
Children's profiles are created by parents/guardians. The following data is collected:
- Profile Information: Display name (can be a nickname), date of birth, gender (optional), avatar

- Authentication: Username and PIN (for child login). PINs are stored securely and are not visible to anyone, including us.
We do NOT collect from children: Real full names (nicknames can be used), email addresses, phone numbers, physical addresses, photos (unless parent enables task photo proof), or any sensitive personal information.
2.3 Automatically Collected Information
- Device and App Information: Device type, operating system version, app version, notification tokens, coarse location derived from network information, and identifiers used for security, analytics, ad delivery, fraud prevention, and measurement. On iOS, the IDFA is available to Google AdMob only if an adult parent/guardian grants App Tracking Transparency permission.
- Usage Data: App interaction data, feature usage patterns, advertising interactions in the free parent/guardian area, and crash reports
- Log Data: Anonymous analytics data to improve app performance

04 Children's Privacy (COPPA Compliance)
We comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) provisions for children, and similar international regulations regarding children's data.
4.1 Parental Consent
- Children cannot create accounts on their own. A parent/guardian must create and manage all child accounts.
- By creating a child account, the parent/guardian provides verifiable consent for the collection and use of their child's information as described in this policy.
- Parents can review, modify, or delete their child's information at any time through the App.
4.2 Data We Collect from Children
We limit the data collected from children to what is reasonably necessary for the App to function:
- Display name / nickname
- Task completion data and points
- Achievement and badge progress
- App usage within DigiDix only
4.3 What We Do NOT Do with Children's Data
- We do not sell children's personal information
- We do not use children's data for behavioral advertising
- We do not allow children to make their information publicly available
- We do not allow children to communicate with strangers
- We do not collect more data than necessary for the App to function
4.4 Advertising and Child Accounts
DigiDix does not display advertisements in child accounts or in the child-facing interface.
- The child-facing interface does not initiate ad requests or render advertisements
- Child profile and activity data are not used to select advertisements
- On Android and iOS, advertisements may appear only in the adult parent/guardian area for free-tier accounts
- The advertising consent and permission flow is never initiated from a child account or child-facing interface
05 Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services that may collect information:
| Service | Provider | Purpose | Policy |
| Firebase Authentication | Google | User login & accounts | Link |
| Cloud Firestore | Google | Data storage | Link |
| Firebase Cloud Messaging | Google | Push notifications | Link |
| Firebase Analytics | Google | Usage analytics | Link |
| Firebase Crashlytics | Google | Crash reporting | Link |
| Google AdMob and User Messaging Platform | Google | Consent management and non-personalized advertising in the free adult parent/guardian area on Android and iOS | Link |
| Google Play Billing | Google | Purchases & subscriptions | Link |

06 Advertising
On Android and iOS, DigiDix displays non-personalized banner advertisements only in the adult parent/guardian area for free-tier accounts. Child accounts do not display ads, and Premium subscribers do not see ads.
- We use Google AdMob on Android and iOS to serve advertisements
- We request non-personalized advertisements and limit ad content to Google's G rating
- Google may process consent choices, approximate location, identifiers, and device, app, and ad interaction data for ad delivery, fraud prevention, frequency capping, and measurement
- Where required, users can make or update privacy choices through Google's User Messaging Platform from the parent Help area
- Advertisements are never rendered in child accounts or the child-facing interface
07 Apple App Tracking Transparency (ATT)
For a free-tier adult parent/guardian on iOS, DigiDix completes the applicable Google User Messaging Platform consent flow and resolves Apple's App Tracking Transparency permission before Google Mobile Ads is initialized or an ad is requested.
- If permission is granted, Google AdMob may access the IDFA to deliver and measure advertisements in the free adult parent/guardian area
- If permission is denied or restricted, DigiDix remains fully usable and does not access the IDFA; IDFA-free non-personalized advertisements may still be displayed
- DigiDix does not sell personal information. Google AdMob may link a device identifier with third-party data for advertising or measurement only when ATT permission allows it
- The ATT request is not shown in child accounts, the child-facing interface, or to Premium subscribers
- Users can change ATT permission later in iOS Settings
